Student of the Week and Parent Teacher conferences
We had Parent Teacher conferences in the middle of October. I admit this was not easy. This was the first conference since Mark had passed away. It was hard going by myself :(. These firsts always hurt so much.
Hannah is doing pretty well according to her teacher. She is a joy at school and they love having her—so she says ;)
Here is the report that I got. We have some work to do in reading but the teacher isn’t too concerned. But we will be trying to read more

October school papers
After this post I’m hoping to go back to weekly posts. So much has been going on the first couple months of school and blogging stuff just hasn’t been a priority. But I’m hoping to make it more of a priority as I love looking back at what Hannah has done.
Lots of math and word problems this month:
Working on spelling, writing and grammar and trying to figure out what is wrong:
Some Social Studies:
Some Science:
A spelling test in which she did very well!
And a few other miscellaneous stuff:

Here is her second grade school picture. I think she looks like she is in high school!
Hannah was the student of the week!
The school had a motivational speaker come to the school who had been paralyzed when she was a kid. Hannah loved meeting her
