This is a time in history that Hannah will remember for the rest of her life.
Starting on March 17, schools closed because of the Coronavirus going around the country. There was a week of spring break in which we didn't do anything but stay at home because everything was closed. We had originally planned on going to a water park with friends and then doing something special together. I had taken the week off to spend with her. The week off ended up being getting a lot of projects done around the house and that was it. :(
The week after spring break started distance learning. Some people referred to it as "home schooling" but I couldn't do that. The teachers basically gave us the packets of work to do and I just told Hannah which sheets to do--I was just the messenger girl. There was no schooling going on by me!
It has been very interesting. As I'm typing this, it has been a month of distance learning and a month of "stay at home" orders. Easter was just the two of us and I haven't been able to hug my parents in a month :( It definitely hasn't been easy.
There was a post going around on Facebook summarizing the events and I wanted to share it here so we can look back at this time and realize what was going on. I wanted to document this as part of Hannah's second grade year as this is a huge event in history.
Here is the post:

Be thankful. Be grateful.
Be kind to each other - love one another - support everyone.
We are all one!
