March so far

So I haven't blogged much lately. So here's a small update.

 The kids decided to play on the stairs one day and this is what I found. All of them trying to find a spot to lay. It turned into quite the game. Even Kade was giggling and cozing up to Parker for a pillow. Kids are so funny and I think I have the best kid and nieces and nephews ever.

 After awhile Sienna and Kade searched for higher ground to play nap time.

And then Landon had a birthday shout hooray! A trampoline wasn't on his list but we got one for the family anyway!

 We had family over for cake and icecream and fun.

He was very appreciative of his presents!

Then I also planned and threw a bridal shower for my sister-in-law and  I got lots of help. We had lots of fun. The theme was some like it "hot".  Her favorite candy turned out to be hot tamales which we decorated with and it turned out great. 

And finally we had lots of good food to eat! 

Besides all that I've been tending, getting licensed for fostercare and figuring out how to be a cub scout leader, but the best thing that's happened so far in March is that Zeb and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary. What a good looking cowboy! I love you Zeb.

The Flats

 It's so fun when we all have a chance to haul cows together. Zeb is such a tease. Most everytime he tries to dunk landon in the trough and occasionally me while we're waiting for the water to fill.  Once he did get landon's hair wet and then I had to help landon get him.

Shooting Range

 We had lots of fun for homevening shooting clay pigeons. Landon was thrilled he got to bring his bebe gun!

Fall Pictures

 We went up Blue Mtn. to take some pictures.

Landon thought we were taking cowboy pics so he insisted one with his hat. Cute Cute.

Dark Canyon

We took a picnic and went on a fourwheeler into Dark Canyon to fix a fence that was down from the river flooding.  We had so much fun. Landon loves fourwheelers. He's ready to drive in on his own.

 And he thinks he can drive trucks as well. Zeb was allowed when he 6 so who knows?

I thought I'd post this cause it was great that all most every immediate family member from Zeb's family was there.

First Branding

 Landon has been so helpful this year.

 Zeb roping calfs for us to brand.  Zeb is such a great cowboy and I want him to know I admire him. He goes through a lot out there.

 Landon vaccinating. He and I switched off while I was branding too and we all got stuck with it before the day was out and I was sick for a week after, hoping it doesn't alter me.

Me helping landon.  Branding was a while ago and today landon asked me why do they cut these shorts like this?  He was wearing a jersey short with a split on the side and he was starring at his seam. He asks, "Why do they cut these on the side like this?"  I don't really know.   He said, "Who did this?"  I saidl the manufacturer who made it.  He's like, "When I meet him I'm going to ask him why he did that?"  I'm all well you probably will never meet him, bud.  Then he says, "I bet they cut it like an ear tag." I'm laughing.  He's says, "They must be calf pants!"  What.  Who comes up with that.  I love him so so much. Love you Land
