What’s this blog about, anyways?

This blog follows my adventures in Azeroth on a semi-regular basis; expect a post every day or two. Whether I’ve downed a boss for the first time, or decided to AFK in Orgrimmar, well, it’ll be here.

What are your characters/realm?

I’ve got a few characters; my main is Sayis, a Tauren Shaman. My raiding spec is Elemental, but for PvP I play Resto. The only other alt I have close to 85 is Mahru, my level 81 Tauren Druid. Other than that, I have a few sub-20s hanging around and little else. All of my characters are on Executus.

What’re you up to in RL?

Not a ton; I’m a Senior in college now, currently looking for a part time job. When I’m not in Azeroth I’m usually kicking back and hanging out with my friends, or doing homework. Lots and lots of homework…

What’s your computer like?

This is mostly here just because I’m pumped for the computer I bought with money from my summer job. I play on a Dell XPS 17. The specs are:

Core i7 2720QM
8 Gigs of RAM
Nvidia GT555M
1080p Display
Blu-ray

A big upgrade from my former machine, a three year old Gateway with Intel Integrated Graphics. I’ve gone from around 5 FPS at the lowest settings, at a lower resolution, to comfortable mid 30s and up on Ultra in high definition. The difference is incredible.
