UtraHacks is a Hardware Hackathon where students will have 13 hours to create a design, prototype, or product of their choosing. Following UTRA’s mission, the team started planning for this event with a mindset of “Design, Build, Inspire”. By not limiting the design scope, we believe this event could bring creative minds together, and bring a variety of brilliant ideas to life. We hope to provide hackers with the best hardware and APIs on the market, as well as with the support and mentorship they need create innovative and useful designs. At the end of the event, hackers will have the chance to present (“demo”) their projects to the judges. The designs will be evaluated and judged based on functionality, innovativeness, and most importantly, real-world potential.
