"mom, let's talk about..."

Sea turtles & pirates. An odd combo, i know but in the mind of a three-year old it works. I cannot tell you how many times I have had this conversation. It started when I had to concentrate on giving naps back to miss evb. We would have to wait until #4 was down & then we would lay down, facing each other, hand in hand and she would start "mom, let's talk about sea turtles & pirates". And it is never just turtles, they are SEA turtles. This morning I found out that they can be pink, purple, green, blue, any color they want. They keep the pirates safe from sharks apparently. If you want to know anything about sea turtles or pirates just ask evb, she has an answer.

swiper's in the house

he is a sneaky fox. whenever something goes missing, evb tells me that he is. yesiree...he's a sneaky fox. i often find her playing by herself or at least i think that she is until i hear that swiper is in the house. she will pack up all her things & head down the hall, then turn & yell "swiper no swiping...swiper no swiping!". i am so glad she has an imaginary friend, i just wish that he wasn't so stinking sneaky.
