[ VIAT /ˈviː.æt/ ] where classical meets quantum
Viat is the emerging store of value for the post-quantum era
Viat is not here to fix legacy chains whose architectures are fundamentally incompatible with post-quantum performance but to operate in the transition gap they cannot close, where legacy chains cannot automatically secure existing wallets and economic disruption becomes unavoidable.

THE
POST-
QUANTUM
WORLD
the game has changed
Larger signatures, massive keys, and heavy computation collide with monolithic designs. That additional post-quantum size reverberates through the stack: mempool pressure, P2P propagation latency and bandwidth, connection handshakes, validator verification throughput, block packing, storage, and sync/bootstrapping times. That's not all, even post-quantum cryptography will eventually become obsolete, which means systems need address based implicit cryptographic agility.
AGILE WALLETS
./INITIALIZE.ADDRESS.TRAPDOOR()....
Each Viat address includes a built-in hidden post-quantum key(s) that can be activated later, so wallets stay secure without changing addresses and assets gain retroactive post-quantum protections.
Each address contains a forward-secure “trapdoor”, allowing every wallet to transition seamlessly to a post-quantum key pair without manual wallet migration, loss of assets, or loss of address. This upgrade path is embedded from the beginning, ensuring that when a hint of Q-Day arrives, the network can securely and verifiably transition all legacy wallets in place.
Commitment schemes arise out of the need for parties to commit to a choice or value and later communicate that value to the other parties involved in such a way that is fair to all the parties.
cryptography is a rat race algorithms or their security levels eventually fail. That's why viat's post-quantum wallets also contain a trapdoor so when time comes they can transition in-place to stronger keys or alternative algorithms.
HYBRID BLOCK-LATTICE
./INITIALIZE.SUPERSTRUCTURE()....
Each wallet in Viat maintains its own dedicated blockchain composed of specialized chain types. Linear chains for sequential operations and DAGs for parallelized receipts, each optimized for its specific function.
Viat organizes data through per-wallet chains connected to global audit layers. Wallet chains handle local transaction logic, while auditor networks establish the canonical, verifiable record of truth.
