This video documents the installation component of a social practice piece called 'Dream House', by Tee Kundu at MSVU art gallery.
Dream House started with a series of workshops with participants where they drew, talked and shared their experiences with housing & home. Recurring themes included housing precarity, transient living, living spaces & the logistics of friends and family who live far.
The artist translated the ‘data’ into drawings & a public 3D installation. Participant drawings turned into 3D sculptures in the virtual space.
3D installation by Kara Van Muyen & Documentation by Jessica Rodriguez.
Special Thanks to Claire Dykhuis for supporting this project.
