Gabi loses TWO teeth!

Gabi Birthday-6!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY today to Gabriela Vincent. Six years old, .Gabi brings sunshine with her everywhere. She is very excited to be a "big kid" in the fall as she enters 1st grade. She loves to read, do art projects, and sing. She just completed singing with the EVMCO Young Singers (ages 4-1st grade) and is taking piano lessons.

She also loves visiting the Science center in Arizona and requested a trip for her birthday. Her biggest accomplishment thus far is FINALLY having a loose tooth. (She got lucky and actually has two ready to come out)

Happy Birthday to Ezra!

This big boy chose the entire menu for his special dinner, including dessert! Bean burritos, strawberries and pumpkin pie for dessert. In case you are wondering, pumpkin pie at Costco is NOT available, so I had to make it from scratch. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ezra Vincent -- three years old today!  He LOVES cars of all sorts.  He is taking swimming lessons and doing very well.  Ezra is a sweet boy and excited to get his first bike for his birthday.

He loves firetrucks fast cars trains and construction machines.

Likes to torment his sister,. Is learning abcs and letter sounds and is very excited to go to preschool  in the fall..  We love this cute little blue-eyed boy!

Gabi had the best Kindergarten teacher EVER! Lisa Schell really understood Gabi and loved her. Thank you Mrs Schell for everything!

Mother's Day 2013

I am actually 30 but I will take 27!  

I am so grateful I get to be a mother to these wonderful kids!

Marathon with pop pop

Congratulations to my dad Stan on finishing another marathon at the Phoenix Marathon this morning! Gabi got to run across the finish line with him, which was the highlight of her week.

And yes he ran with shoes but took them off at some point and ran barefoot the rest of the way. He has a lot of practice running properly barefoot. Do NOT try this at home. ;)

So I broke my toe...

So after going 30 years without breaking any bones.... Here you go.

Let me tell you it is a dumb story.

So the night before I had an argument with Jack and said something to the effect of this "Maybe I just won't do anything around the house and just lie around all day..."

Watch what you say because the following happened at around 3 in the morning while getting up groggy to comfort a crying child.

I tripped over one of Jack's shoes that was left out, as I rounded a corner to get out of our bedroom and caught my foot on a table as I fell.

Truth be told it didn't really hurt except for the initial fall. It did start to puff up and bruise right away thought so I figured it was broken. Since it wasn't visibly broken and I wasn't uncomfortable I decided to wait till the urgent care opened up in the morning.

No cast but I will be in a boot for about 6-8 weeks. :)

Gabi is old! Ezra shopping fun

Gabi celebrated her 100th day of school. Everyone including the teacher dressed up like they were 100 years old!

I was proud of her "wrinkles" but they had to be washed off before lunch because she scared some of the kids. (apparently "old" for kindergarten just means white hair and electric blue eye shadow with a crazy dress.) insert eye roll here....


Ezra and I went to check out the store Garden Ridge and found they still had Christmas stuff for sale and LOTS of trees still left. I went back the next day to get a tree for my mom and everything was cleaned up and GONE. I was shocked.  Anyway check out this cuteness I caught while we were out.
