Our big girls

So its been a while since we have had a good, detailed blog, so I will try to give some more details in this one. Since our last post, our big girl Braylee turned 2!! Its crazy how fast this last 2 years has gone by. Her 2 year old stats were: Weight-27 lbs!!! Height-30 in She is getting so big! She is so great and she has so much personality!! I love her to death!! Everyday is so exciting, and so fun to see her learning new things and to see how much she loves her family, ESPECIALLY her sister. Bray is the best big sister!! She loves Emma so much!! She loves to kiss her and love on her. Whenever Emma cries she is the first one to check on her. They are already best friends! Its so fun to see their relationship grow! She had such a great birthday!! And if you can't tell by the pictures, she loves dora!! Emma is 9 weeks old and what a great 9 weeks its been!! She is so sweet and getting cuter and chubbier everyday!! She is showing so much personality and she is so fun. She is starting to smile and I even got her to laugh the other day! She has brought so much joy to our family and her and Bray again, are becoming the best of friends. She is getting so big. At her two month check-up, she was so cute with her doctor, even a bit of a flirt. Emma's 2 month stats: Weight- 10lbs 14 oz!!! chunker! Height-21 in So pretty much she is short and stout! Its genetic! She is so great and been such a great blessing to our family!!

Happy Halloween!!

Its been a while....

Well its been a while since we last updated the blog, and quite a bit has happened since. We finally moved home from California. Me and Braylee came home in July due to my doctor wanting me closer to him and the hospital. Jimmy got home the end of August and we were so excited to welcome him home!! But he didn't have much time to relax. He started school shortly after getting home. I also had a list of things to do to help get ready for this baby girl of ours. Speaking of our baby girl, thankfully she welcomed us early. Not as early as I personally would have liked, but early is early. I was scheduled to be induced on the 12th of September, but baby girl had other plans and we welcomed Emma Fe Allen Tuesday, September 11 at 5:28 a.m. Braylee loves Emma and just can't seem to get enough of her. Four days after having Emma, my brother got married which was really fun and neat to see. Two days after that I had my gallbladder removed which wasn't as bad as I was thinking it would be. I found out that I'm a little spazy when I'm coming out of it. Jimmy said I was very entertaining. We are loving being a little family of 4 and are loving this journey. More pictures coming soon!

Summer in California

Well this summer, we are in the beautiful area of Dublin California. We live in an amazing area and we are very lucky to be in such a nice area(compared to previous years). Its been a while since I updated the blog, so I figured it was time. This summer has been filled with work(Jimmy) and lots of play(me and Braylee). This last weekend, my birthday weekend, Jimmy was able to have 3 days off(not by his choice, but the salesman have been struggling), so we took advantage of him being home. For my birthday we drove into Oakland to the zoo. We loved it!! The weather was perfect and it wasn't a huge zoo so not a ton of walking. Braylee loved seeing all the animals!! The rest of the weekend we just spent some much needed time together, especially since me and Bray will be leaving in the next couple weeks. We have lots of pictures so enjoy! Lots of days at the park! We love the park here, its a playground with a splash pad in the middle of everything! Its awesome!!

Our day at the zoo was so fun!! We had a blast and loved seeing all the animals.

We have had some fun out here, and Braylee has gotten so big while we have been out here. She is going to be a great big sister. We are excited to get home and get ready for our new baby girl.

TRIP INTO SAN FRAN!! When my mom was here, we had the opportunity to go into San Fran. We just went down along the pier, it was pretty cool. We went to fisherman's warf which was really cool, but we didn't get to spend as much time there. But from what we saw, it was pretty awesome!

our lives lately

So we haven't really posted any pics since christmas time, so we figured its time for an update. As you know, we found out in January that we are going to be getting another little angel, and then found out in April that its going to be another little girl. We are so excited and Braylee is very excited for her baby sister. Braylee is getting so big and so SMART!!! I'm not ready for her to be so grown up yet, but she brings so much joy and laughter to our lives!

So we told our parents that we were expecting for Lavon's birthday and my mom's birthday. This is the picture that we put on their cards.



For Easter, we were with my family out camping and Braylee loved it!! She loved playing in the dirt and on the rocks, and she loved the Easter egg hunt.

It was fun for us to see Braylee go from sparkling clean to looking like a little orphan. These are a few of the pictures we got throughout the day.

This is mid day, I thought I had a picture of when she was clean,but I guess not. This is just a portion of what she did to get so dirty, but her and her cousin tytan loved every minute of it.




As you can see she has been playing in the dirt and trying its nutritional value. She found that dirt doesn't taste the best

By the end of the day, she was so tired. Her and Jimmy rode off the mountain with my grandpa in his motor home and braylee was so tired Jimmy laid her on the couch and she was out cold. It was actually quite a sight and wish now I would have gotten a picture. But this was after her ride home, again, out cold and filthy dirty.
