Did you notice that she held up her pinky finger like a little lady. She was in heaven here as you can see on her face in the last picture. We are doing this again for sure!

mallows anyone

We had a really fun Marshmallow roast with Josh's family. We all meet at Kevin and Lisa's home. We had dinner, s'mores and games. I don't have many pictures of this night. I didn't take any, but Lisa did and she sent me some (thank you)! We miss being with everyone and are excited to be closer soon so that we can have marshmallow roasts with you more often! Ella was to busy and I don't have any pictures of her, but she had a good time! I'm sure of it! ImageJonah peeing in the yard in front of everyone.

For the beauty of the earth!

I decided to name this post that, because in that hymn it talks about all of the amazing things that we have on this earth. I love being outdoors, and being in nature and especially the mountains! I feel close to my Heavenly Father when I am there. Maybe it's because I grew up with a great dad who has a great love, and passion for nature, and he taught me about it and to respect it. Or maybe it's because I am reminded of this amazing world that was created for us by a loving Savior so that we could have joy. In any case I am very happy when I am surrounded by the beauty of this world, and we were on this day. We decided to go hiking to a lake and then back down. We saw many wildflowers and a mommy and baby moose, that I ran from, and Josh got closer to, so he could take pictures!! I don't have any pictures of it either. Anyway we went with Lisa (Josh's sister) and her kids. It was so fun. Here are the pictures.Image

Lagoon

So the first thing that we did with the Ward family was go to Lagoon! It was a lot of fun and really different since i was last there. The rides where bigger and scarier. I felt like I wanted to pass out and die half the time and Ella was in heaven. Jonah felt bad that he wasn't big enough for half of the scary ones and Will just wasn't sure about any of it. I couldn't even stomach the Merry go Round. We did have a lot of fun and even Grandma Margo went on some of them! Here a a few pics that we got.

Remember how in a previous post I mentioned one of the hard things about being married to a doctor is that you meet wonderful people and then everyone has to move on when the training is done. I meet all of these ladies in NC,and we all ended up being in UT at the same time this summer. We spent the day together so our kids could play and we could chat, then we went out for a night on the town. We had so much fun and laughed all night long. We ate at the California Pizza kitchen and shared pizza's and then went over to a little chocolate shop for some goodies. I got a yummy carmel apple because I love them! At the end of the night it was so hard to say goodbye. I cried a little because I truly love these women! My kids and I stayed at Heathers house that night, (Mike, Thank YOU for putting them to bed for me!!) and she and I stayed up till 2 am talking, laughing, and taking the color personality test! I know that you all have had nights like this with your dear friends! Isn't it the best!!!

Oh how I love the Mountains!

My parents live really close to the mountains and ever since I was a little girl we have been driving up to the top of Willard Peak. It's a beautiful drive and from the top you can see SLC, Logan, and I'm told with binoculars you can see AZ. We packed all of the kids with pillows and blankets and sleeping bags into the back of my dad's truck and we were off. WE bumped around and once or twice I broke my tail bone! We stopped for pictures and found some wildlife.

Despicable Me

Did you see this movie. It was pretty cute. My parents took my family as well as my cute nephew Preston, to see the movie in 3D. We have never done a 3D movie and so we were all really excited about it. Jonah ended up sitting in my moms lap the whole time. Preston ended up on mine. Will stayed with my sister. Ella was the only one that it didn't scare. It's not a scary movie, it's just that they didn't like the 3D. My favorite part were the glasses on the kids! Image Check out Jonah's face in both pictures. I laughed so hard when I saw these!Image

Family Reunions are the best

I was delighted to get to see my family from my dad's side. I grew up so close to them and haven't seen so many of them in awhile. We went to my Aunt Gizelle and Uncle Reed's home for some good Texas BBQ. My cousin John and his wife where moving there and so we all got together. It was really fun to have our kids together and watch them do the same things that we did growing up. I loved playing at there house as a kid. They have a huge orchard behind there house. It was the the funniest for tag and just playing in the dirt! Here are my kids doing the same as well as a pic of one of the World's best Grandma's! Unfortunatley I didn't take one picture of family. Image See here she is with my sister kids, because mine never do that!

UTAH VACATION, HERE WE COME

This is are fun yearly vacation to UT. We only get to go once a year becasue it's really expensive these days to fly a family of 5 across the United States. Anyway that doesn't really matter ( except for maybe in the future when somone comes across mt blog and then they will know that it was expensive to fly a family of 5 across the USA). So... we did so much and loved seeing family and friends! I am gong to just start posting it and I'm not sure it will be in order, but really all I want to do is document it.
We went fishing with my family and that was funny! It's a fish farm so you are really gauranteed to catch something. We had a bucket of fish food and the kids had little poles. We threw the food in and the kids threw thier poles in and wala you would catch a fish. My dad loves to fish and so he helped each of the kids.
