Christmas globes

So since before December came along I talked about our Christmas project. Well now that Christmas is over and we have delivered our gifts here is what we made!

25 Days of Christmas- Day 20

Today Brock and I made candy cane sleigh ordaments. Today I did the last of my Christmas shopping. It is nice to know I am done. Now we just have to prep for the food and sit back and enjoy! Here are some photos from today.

25 Days of Christmas- Day 15

The other day Brock and I made a paper plate Santa. It was a lot of fun. With all the projects we have done I finally got a small display up. I love it right next to the Christmas tree! Makes it homey.

Shopping

This photo makes me laugh... These two are so much fun.

On a different note, I died my own hair and it turned out pretty good. May have to go this rout more often!

What was I thinking?

So you will notice that every so often a couple of days of our Christmas extravaganza is missing. This is because Christmas season is busy!!! What was I thinking trying to do something every day. Some days the kids don't feel like it. Somedays I don't feel like it. And in the spirit of Christmas, I don't feel like forcing it because then it would become a chore instead of an enjoyable project to do together. So until we get some more tasks done, here are some pictures of the days between!

25 days of Christmas- day 11

Today we made paper bag reindeer. Brock was pretty excited and now he runs around the house pretending his reindeer is eating us.
Tim pit up some Christmas lights. We are not finished with our display yet, so when we do get I done, I will post about it.
As for our Christmas craft as presents. I finished some and mailed them out. Now I have to work on the ones for people here in town... Until tomorrow, good night.

25 Days of Christmas - day 8

Today was a challenge. Ella did not sleep very well last night, which means I didn't sleep very well. It was even awakened early by Brock sneezing on the couch. Lol! But as the day proceeded we attempted to shovel the drive way of the 4 inches of snow we got the night before. I think it took more time getting everyone dressed and out the door than we actually spent outside. Maybe it was because Ella is cutting her first two teeth or maybe because we were pushing nap time but she wasn't having it. Sorry neighborhood for making you listen to my child cry while I shoveled my car out!
On a bright note, Ella is cutting teeth! Yay! And we did our advent calendar craft. Tonight Brock and I made pine cone ornaments. Brock helped glue, cut, and he placed them all over our tree! Merry Christmas in deed.

25 days of Christmas- day 7

Today our task was to lace a stocking. It was to help Brock with some fine motor skills. However, Brock got board so I ended up lacing the two stockings and he glued the fluff while Ella was running around. We also finally got some snow tonight! We will have some fun shoveling and playing in it tomorrow!!!! Yay!

25 Days of Christmas- Day 6

Today we made chocolate covered pretzels. It was delightful! Brock ate about every other one. But he was a big help. Grandma Micki was also able to enjoy in our festivities. It was great to have her around for the afternoon.

Studious

Today Brock worked on his schoolwork for about 45 minutes. He was very studious and excited about learning!

Staying busy

This holiday season we are staying busy! I have created our home made advent calendar and with it all the daily activities! I will try my best to update our daily tasks. Today we decorated our Christmas tree!

Happy birthday to my little girl!

A year ago today, my little girl Ella was born. What a day that was. Ella you sure were ready to come into this world and every day since has been such a blessing!

I can't wait for the next year of adventures. Here is to you gorgeous!!!
