Cruising, Crocheting and Dollmaking

Our long awaited Transatlantic Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas this month took us to some amazing locations.  Some of our excursions took us to

Cork, Ireland
We actually kissed the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle

We went on a canal boat ride viewing the historical buildings in Ghent, Belgium

Saw the Windmills in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Toured the Vigeland Sculpture Park in Oslo, Norway.

We had such a great time on this trip.  We made new friends from all over the world.

As I was preparing for this trip, I was not very attentive to my crafting.

Now that I am back from vacation and rejuvenated, I have the incentive to get back into it.  I've been busy crocheting children's hats and just listed a few on Etsy.

I also listed a primitive Raggedy Ann doll on Ebay.

Looking forward to the next transatlantic cruise that we booked along with some of our new friends.

I Love Venice, Italy

Yes, I love Venice, Italy.  When I came upon this print fabric on Ebay I just had to buy it for a new doll project.  The print is a scene that depicts the architecture and gondolas along the waterfront of Venice.  Of course you can't go to Venice without purchasing a mask.  Here is my finished doll and the mask I created for her.  She was created from a pattern by Raggedy Old Annies and is available for purchase on Etsy.

A few of my newest creations

This black doll has sold.

Primitive Teddy Bear is available on Ebay.

This pair of dolls turned out so cute I decided to keep them for myself.  How many of you crafters actually keep your creations for yourself?  My dolls are usually listed to sell as soon as they are made.

Crocheted Sock Monkey is available on Etsy.

A Special Request

I've been neglecting my crafting most of the summer because of our summer vacations.  I can't believe we're already into the holiday season.  Got to dust off my sewing machine and get busy again!

I had a special request by one of my faithful customers for another Raggedy Ann doll.  She wanted a Christmas theme doll made from a Sweet Meadows Farm pattern.  She turned out so sweet.
