WiseHacks 2017 will give college students (18+) the opportunity to showcase their technical skills and passion for building innovative software applications and hardware hacks. Participants will spend 24 hours learning about new technology, networking with professional mentors and working to solve a problem of their choosing. Whether building a website, mobile app or hardware hack, the goal is to start from scratch and end with a usable prototype to demo in front of our panel of judges.
WiseHacks is a non-profit event that is free to all participants! Our hackers will have the opportunity to pick up awesome swag from our sponsor tables, get to know professional mentors from the tech industry, work with cool hardware from the MLH lab, and learn about today’s technology in one of our featured tech talks. Hackers will also have the chance to participate in fun mini-games like cup stacking and corn hole and win sweet door prizes from our sponsors. All of our participants will receive a free WiseHacks 2017 t-shirt and plenty of free food and energy drinks to help make it through the weekend!
