For Mary's House

I must be some sort of a magnet for beautiful people.

Mary is a very stylin' person. BUT she was specific on only two things. White background and the grunge-y look. So, knowing how her house is currently decorated, I went with the icy look on the above portraits. Then I played around with some "vintage grunge textures"

Perigee

Friday's full moon was also it's closest point to Earth, called the perigee. Since its orbit is not a perfect circle, the moon is not always the same distance from us. With the kids in tow, I was slightly late for the moonrise, but I manages to get this.
You had no idea you would learn so much about astronomy by reading this blog, eh? I still need to study up on astrophotography...

Wow. Such a pretty girl!

There is this magical place in town with three walls of three different colors all within 5 feet of each other!! Tan, Pink and blue (coming soon in next post) and Syd looks good on all of them!

My first attempt at using the Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop. It is a very cute store. It was a tight fit for the lens I wanted to use, so I didn't get quite what I had in mind, but we still got these fun shots!
