Tower Fall DLC Map is Released!
January 28, 2026
The hills and valleys south of Tower Fall offer prime habitat for wolves -- and for their prey and competitors. Several kilometers west of Amethyst Mountain, this area, also known as the Antelope Creek Watershed, sprawls below the ancient volcano Mount Washburn.
Features:
- 9x6 kilometer map (15% larger than Amethyst Mountain and Slough Creek maps).
- All quests and features of the WolfQuest Saga.
- Yellowstone's Grand Loop Road runs through the game map. The area is closed to visitors, except for daily sightseeing buses, along with the occasional park ranger truck. (But don't worry: the drivers of these vehicles love animals and will never hurt one with their vehicle!)
- New animal: Lynx! These secretive felines are rarely seen but will challenge wolves over carcasses.
- All the animals found in other Yellowstone maps.
- Fifteen new achievements.
- Over 40 new dreams featuring Tower Fall animals, collectible objects, and landmarks.

WolfQuest Released Out of Early Access!
July 22, 2025
We are delighted to finally reach this milestone -- and we could not have done it (or come anywhere close) without the enthusiasm, devotion, and patience of our players. Thanks to everyone who has supported the game over all these years! And we're not done yet!
The Saga is Released!
December 9, 2024
The story of your pack now continues in the Saga -- an expansion (free to anyone who owns WolfQuest: Anniversary Edition) where you can live the entire life of your wolf. The seasons roll by as you raise a new litter of pups every year: feeding them, defending them from competitors, and helping them learn how to hunt big prey. Yearlings help with the new pups until they too may decide to disperse and join or form another pack. With tenacity and skill (and some luck), build your legacy of skilled hunters and pack leaders! Can you survive long enough to become a legendary wolf of Yellowstone?
Hellroaring Mountain DLC Map is Released!
April 11, 2024
Hellroaring Mountain rises above the Yellowstone River in north-central Yellowstone, several kilometers west of Slough Creek. The largest granite mountain in the park, Hellroaring overlooks the Black Canyon of the Yellowstone and, further south, the rolling hills leading up to the Blacktail Deer Plateau.
Features:
- 8x8 kilometer map (30% larger than the other WQ:AE Yellowstone maps).
- The full arc of quests, from learning to hunt through raising pups. (That currently brings you to Endless - Summer, but once the Saga is completed, it will be available here as well as in other maps.)
- Wolverines. These feisty competitors are mainly found in the high country north of the Yellowstone River. They will put up a fierce fight over carcasses.
- All the animals found in other Yellowstone maps, except beavers. (They don't live in this area, not enough slow creeks.)
- Fifteen new achievements.
- Over 30 new dreams featuring Hellroaring animals and landmarks.
Lost River is Released!
15 December 2022
The new, expanded Lost River map for WQ:AE is now available as DLC. Lost River is a fictional map set somewhere in the West. It is a mysterious town, abruptly abandoned by humans for unknown reasons and is gradually returning to nature. You can now raise pups and play the complete Saga in Lost River.
