Description

Use a shortcode to grab RSS feeds from external sources and embed them into posts or pages. After you have activated the plugin, you can start to use the shortcode.

Example shortcode usage:

[wpmizerss url=”http://feeds.feedburner.com/Wpmize” feeds_limit=”5″ words_limit=”100″ ul_class=’ class=”ordered”‘]

Installation

  1. Place the ‘wp-rss-fetcher-shortcode’ folder in your ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory.
  2. Activate WP RSS Fetcher ShortCode.
  3. Use this shortcode to insert RSS feeds into a post or page: [wpmizerss url=”http://feeds.feedburner.com/Wpmize” feeds_limit=”5″ words_limit=”100″ ul_class=’ class=”ordered”‘]

Insert this shortcode in a page or post:

Parameters:

  • url -> the feed URL
  • feeds_limit -> limit how many feeds you want to show
