Corbin and Jackson at Jump Planet
For Christmas, the kids each got a fancy certificate to have a special play date ALONE with a friend of their choice. Corbin’s certificate included a trip to Jump Planet (his favorite planet in the universe) with a friend. This was such a big deal for him that Dan stayed home fromwork to take him and the little friend. Wow, we were counting down the days and minutes. Finally the day came. Apparently they had a super fun time. THey left at 9am, went for pizza afterward, and then played at our house for another couple hours. I think Corbin has a new best friend! Check out these two fabulous four-year-olds! By the way, Corbin and his friendwere born just hours apart right down the hall from each other at the same hospital. Cool.
Whatcha Been Eatin?
The other day Dan left late for work (on purpose) so he got up with Ruby (hooray!) and let me sleep a bit more. She usually gets up at 6:30. Not cool but that’s how she rolls. But then he left without telling me. So when I got up and went to the kitchen, GUESS who I found eating out of the can of Ovaltine with a huge spoon? Oh yes….The Ru-bus. And she was not one bit ashamed.
Underwater dioramas
We made some fun dioramas for science. Here they are in all their glory. THere are brain coral, fan coral and sea anemones. Our sea anemones turned out more like palm trees…but oh well.
The Tramp!!
We got our family an early Easter present: A new trampoline!!!! WAHOOOO!! I finally get the tramp I’ve always wanted. Oh, yeah, and the kids do too. It’s a great release for thekids during ourschool day. GOod exercise. Keeps them close to the house and it’s funforthe neighborhood kids too, so I can keep tabs on everyone. Safer than biking out front. And they are more than willing to go outside to play now, even in the rain.
We actually returned the trampthat is pictured and decided to get a better one since we could see that it was going to be worth the investment.
Sofia lost her first tooth!
HURRAY!
Finally! Finally…..finally.
Now we haveto listen to corbin’s imaginings about all his loose teeth and the many dollars he will get from the tooth fairy. And he wants us to check him for wiggly teeth regularly.

Aruba, Jamaica, Ooo I wanna take ya..
