Buckner Family Pathways helps single parents pursue education and stability while living in safe, affordable housing with their children.
Protect children
Children who have experienced trauma through early childhood adversity or work to overcome special needs can impact their ability to thrive in education, relationships, and more. We are called to help protect children and provide loving and safe families whether temporarily or permanently.
Strengthen families
Some life adversities are beyond a child’s control, such as a parent’s job loss, financial poverty, or lack of a supportive village. This is why we emphasize strengthening and supporting parents. Building community, having access to resources, free counseling, and job training can do wonders to boost a family’s morale and potential for sustainability.
Transform generations
It’s not uncommon for parents to unresolved childhood trauma. This is not their fault. Mental health stigmas, lack of available or affordable resources, or general systemic challenges all make parenting today challenging. This is why we focus to help parents address negative family cycles so they and their children can be strong and successful.
Serve seniors
Inspiring Happiness® in senior adults is a priority. Working hard to enrich lives with dignity, energy, and attention matters. It is a blessing to experience this stage of life with individuals who have had numerous experiences, memories, and talents. Senior adults have spent a lifetime helping others, and it is a joy to be able to serve them.
