We’re pleased to introduce Codee 2024.3. This release marks another significant advancement in our static code analyzer, equipping Fortran, C, and C++ developers with the tools they need to build modern, high-performance software that meets industry standards.

- Basic Codee Workflow: Introducing key improvements in technical-debt analysis, code screening, ROI calculation, and checks to enhance your overall workflow.

- New Fortran Modernization Checkers: We’ve added several new checkers to help you modernize your Fortran code, including:
- Simplified CLI for Compiler Invocations: A more intuitive command-line interface to streamline compiler integration.
- Bundled Fortran Modules: Now includes essential modules like MPI, NetCDF, HDF5, and OpenACC for seamless development.
- Enhanced Source File Dependency Manager: Better management of dependencies in Fortran modules to reduce build issues and improve efficiency.
- New Autofix Features:
- LLVM/Flang 19 Upgrade: We’ve upgraded to the LLVM/Flang 19 (19.1.0-rc1) front-end, providing enhanced robustness and stability for your Fortran projects.
- Expanded Compiler Support: Codee supports GNU and LLVM compilers, and now it also supports Cray, Intel (Classic ifort), and Nvidia compilers for greater flexibility in your development environment.
