Well, it seems clear now, this site is dying.

I'm not sure it's really worth continuing here.

A few years ago, around 2019 I think, I already noticed that something had changed on this site, probably following the update that resulted in the site we know today. Before that date, I was starting to attract quite a bit of attention; when I look at the old uploads, it was often around 350 to 600 likes.
Then came the update, and I noticed a drop of about 30-40%. I don't know what they changed, but something definitely happened.

And then, of course, there's the AI... this site is now completely consumed by AI images, and while they should be promoting human artists who have been trying to build something for years, they're doing absolutely nothing in that direction, and I'd even say it's the opposite. Since the introduction of AI, I didn't initially notice any difference in views/likes, but for the past few months, it's been another drop of over 50%. It's now around 90 to 150 likes, and occasionally, on rare occasions, it reaches around 250.
Yes, I know, I'm not asking for 5k likes every time I post an image, but when you're trying to build something, for years, you also try to have a certain appeal. Otherwise, there's no point in posting your illustrations online; you keep them to yourself, and that's it.
And now, it's like I'm back to day one; it's pathetic. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I don't know.

This message might sound like whining, but I've noticed this on other profiles I follow, and I know I'm not the only one (like @aerroscape )
