PHILOSOPHY

  • Image

    PLAY

Play is essential to the creative process. The art of play is about engaging with an activity simply because it brings you joy. There’s no pressure to deliver a perfect final product. The focus is on the journey, not the destination.

  • Image

    EXPLORE

You never know what might spark a new creative passion or inspire your next big idea. You may discover a new way to express your feelings or connect with others. One of the best ways to learn more about who you are and what you like is to get out there and try something new.

    CREATE

Creativity helps us think beyond what is right in front of us. It helps us imagine a better, more colorful world. ECDC is a safe place for young artists to practice making their ideas become reality; make masterpieces, make mistakes, make something amazing, make a mess! Whatever you make, make it your own.

What People Are Saying *

“My child came home […] asking “can I do this everyday?!” Theater camp was a success all around due in part to the creative abilities of Jessie and all she puts into the sessions. We can’t wait to participate again in future camps! You should too!

— Jessica H., parent

“Jessie is the best! We’ve been taking her programs, camps and classes for years. Her curriculum is spot on… just the right balance of expertise, support, and freedom for the kids to dream big.”

— Alexis T., parent

“At ECDC [my son] is engaged and participating the whole time and when I pick him up he becomes an excited chatterbox of sharing.

[…] a truly inclusive environment where everyone can participate and have fun together.

— Tara H., parent
