Ensemble Prose is an early music ensemble founded in Baltimore, bringing historically-informed performance on period instruments to the East Coast and beyond. We are dedicated to the revival of forgotten and underperformed music from the Baroque and before, and we are invested in reanimating ancient music to connect audiences with the music of their histories.
