What is DAFI?

To address this challenge, we introduce the Data Analytics Functionality Index (DAFI), a tool that empowers organizations to make informed decisions about their data analytics initiatives. Similar to the Nutri-Score system for evaluating nutritional value, DAFI provides a standardized, visual assessment of a project's functionality and potential impact.
How DAFI works
DAFI is determined based on a thorough questionnaire that covers different aspects of the assessed project, as described in this diagram. A score is calculated for each indicator, and an overall weighted score is used to determine the DAFI of the project.
UTILITY
Verifies how well the business question is defined.
MEASURABILITY
Measures the actionability of the project’s outcomes.
FEASIBILITY
Measures strategic and operational feasibility within the organization.
VERIFIABILITY
Checks if the system can be validated and trusted.
