The first Machine Learning Engineer joined Godel 5 years ago, shortly followed by our talented group of Data Scientists. Godel’s investment in AI was amplified in 2023 as a strategic business initiative which followed the Godel AI Security policy being introduced.

The AI community is a growing concept essential for harnessing AI technologies’ rapid growth and meeting increasing customer interest which is key to staying technologically advanced and competitive. Godel has a knowledge base with hundreds of technical documents spanning nearly 10 years, in formats like PowerPoint, Word, and PDF.
The goal was to develop an AI-powered MS Teams chatbot, using a proof of concept to demonstrate how Large Language Models (like GPT from OpenAI) can answer natural language queries about this document collection, providing insights from proprietary content. The system was built as an extensible framework, to allow adaptation to other LLMs, clouds and data sources.

Implementing Enhanced Data, Machine Learning and Generative AI Capabilities for a Leading Proptech Platform
The client wanted to expand into the US market by increasing data sources and setting up an experimental data science team. The team developed several machine learning models to provide insights, which were deployed as API services on AWS SageMaker.
To further improve data consistency and quality, they implemented an automated process in production using a prompt engineering approach, resulting in enhanced outcomes for the end customer.

The aim was to build an AI-powered live language interpretation system that integrated with the client’s existing service offering and showcase the commercial viability of AI-based language services.
Within three months of the engagement starting, the team released an MVP that integrated with the client’s booking portal. The system was built with an extensible architecture that allows for the plugging of alternative AI providers with minimal adaptation.

Building a PoC for a UK-based Fintech Company Streamlining Data About Carbon Assets
The client was looking for an approach to aggregate information about organisations, their carbon assets, and credits available for deals on the carbon credit market. The goal was to build a solution that would allow them to extract data from different data sources and put it into one general data schema.
The exploration phase included evaluating different AI tools, such as Content in Prompt and AI Assistants, weighing their respective advantages and disadvantages, which resulted in a comprehensive delivery plan for the AI-powered solution being developed.
