Welcome to JJAYCE, where we use clothing as a way for identity exploration, character building and embodied self-expression within custom menswear. JJAYCE transforms your personal style into exclusive, tailor-made pieces where every fabric choice, stitch and detail is chosen for your purpose.
Working with JJAYCE is straightforward and personal. You start by sharing your ideas with us whether that’s an occasion, an inspiration, or just a feeling or thought you want to capture or you leave it in our hands completely; whatever suits you best. From there, we work closely with you to shape that idea into a real design, talking through fabrics, fit and all the details that make a garment truly yours. Once everything feels right, we craft your piece using quality, deadstock materials. The result is a one-of-a-kind garment, built entirely around your identity, personal and custom made. Besides custom menswear for individuals, we collaborate with groups and productions where storytelling and fashion come together.

ABOUT
I create custom menswear: one-of-a-kind pieces, made to measure. Each garment exists only once. To me, clothing is fashion without rules. No trends, no seasons, no mass production. I use textiles as a language to tell stories. My work is process-driven and emerges from materials, people, and the environment in which I work. I work with deadstock fabrics and second-hand textiles. For example, my grandmother’s tablecloth, curtains from our previous home, a potato sack, or fabrics from other countries form the basis of my designs. What already exists is given a new life, a new shape, and a new meaning. Through patchwork, pleating techniques, deconstruction, fabric manipulation, and experimentation, garments are created that carry identity, attitude, and story. Materials often determine the direction of the creative process, forming an intuitive dialogue with inspiration drawn from everyday life: spaces, people, behavior, and surroundings.
