POLYCAB FANS CATALOGUE – INVISIBLE ELEGANCE

Project Overview: Our creative studio had the pleasure of collaborating with Polycab to design their new fans catalogue, embracing the theme of Invisible Elegance. The goal was to showcase Polycab's innovative fan designs, which capture and direct airflow in a way that mimics the natural, soothing breezes of the world around us.

Product Catalogue

Concept & Inspiration: Each Polycab fan is designed to move air in gentle arcs and spirals, creating a tranquil atmosphere in any home. Our design concept for the catalogue aimed to reflect this ethereal beauty, blending the delicate balance between function and form. The patterns and waves used in the cover and section dividers symbolized the invisible patterns and ripples generated by the fans as they move. 

Design Execution 

  • Cover Design: The cover featured elegant, flowing patterns that mirrored the graceful movement of air. The colors and textures were chosen to evoke a sense of calm and serenity, setting the tone for the entire catalogue.

  • Section Dividers: Each section divider was adorned with wave-like patterns, emphasizing the continuous, smooth airflow generated by Polycab fans. These dividers provided a cohesive and visually appealing transition between different sections of the catalogue. 

  • Content Layout: The layout of the catalogue was meticulously designed to ensure that each fan's unique features and benefits were highlighted. High-quality images and concise descriptions were used to provide a clear and engaging presentation of Polycab's products.

Polycab commissioned a catalogue for their fans range under the concept of Invisible Elegance — communicating how their fans move air in gentle arcs and spirals, creating atmosphere rather than just airflow. The design challenge was to make a product catalogue feel like a lifestyle publication, with a companion national print campaign delivered alongside.

What We Delivered

  • Flowing cover patterns mirrored the graceful movement of air — the catalogue's own design performed the promise of the product before a single fan was shown on its pages.

  • Wave-like section dividers created a cohesive visual narrative across the entire catalogue, making the browsing experience feel continuous rather than paginated and categorised.

  • High-quality images with concise descriptions ensured each fan's unique features were clearly communicated — the catalogue worked simultaneously as inspiration and specification guide.

  • A companion print advertisement (Fans of India — Fans made by India) was delivered alongside the catalogue, extending the Invisible Elegance theme into media placement and celebrating Polycab's national heritage.

A product catalogue is not just a price list with pictures — it is the first conversation a brand has with a retailer or consumer. When Polycab opens this catalogue in a meeting, it communicates a brand that thinks beyond utility.
