These pledges will be collected and shared across the organisation, helping to build lasting connections and practical support networks.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"252\" data-end=\"426\">Staff and students will also be invited to wear purple,\u00a0 the internationally recognised colour of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.internationalwomensday.com\/\">International Women\u2019s Day<\/a>, as a visible show of solidarity across campus. Reaseheath\u2019s catering team will also be baking purple-themed traybakes to raise money for a local women\u2019s charity, reinforcing the college\u2019s commitment to supporting women both on campus and in the wider community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"1000\">Alongside the fundraising activity, female students will also have the chance\u00a0 to take part in a self-defence session organised by Student Services. The session aims to give students practical skills while promoting confidence, independence and personal safety.<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa Rhodes, Director of People and Culture at Reaseheath, said: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.internationalwomensday.com\/\">International Women\u2019s Day<\/a> is about more than celebration, it\u2019s about action. The theme <em>Give to Gain<\/em> really resonates with us because when women share their skills, time and experience, everyone benefits.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The week of activity reflects Reaseheath\u2019s ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where women are empowered to thrive in education, employment and leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa added: \u201cWhether it\u2019s mentoring a colleague, encouraging a student or opening up a new opportunity, those small acts of support can have a lasting impact.
