Can you rise to an occasion? Are your skills with sugar paste sweet? Whatever tickles your fondant fancy, it\u2019s all or muffin in this year\u2019s competition!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Design Brief:<\/h3>\n<p>We are challenging you to bake and decorate a cake with a \u2018Japan 2020 Olympics\u2019 theme. The choice of recipe and style is completely up to you! Don\u2019t be afraid to take some whisks &#8211; the cakes are high!<\/p>\n<h3>Prizes:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>1st prize &#8211; \u00a3100 for the student and a bakery equipment bundle for the winning school<\/li>\n<li>2nd prize &#8211; \u00a350 for the student<\/li>\n<li>2 x runners up &#8211; \u00a325 for each student<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How and when:<\/h3>\n<p>Schools need to register their entries by Friday 3rd\u00a0April using the entry form below.<\/p>\n<h5>Stage 1 \u2013 Product Development&#8230;<\/h5>\n<p>At your school, <strong>year 9 or 10<\/strong> students will individually develop a \u2018Japan 2020 Olympics\u2019 themed cake. The school will submit a photograph and product specification as well as an action plan of each student\u2019s entry to Reaseheath Food Centre by Friday 3rd\u00a0April.<\/p>\n<h5>Stage 2 \u2013 Shortlisting of Finalists&#8230;<\/h5>\n<p>Reaseheath Food Centre will review all entries with finalists notified of their success by Friday 17th\u00a0April.<\/p>\n<h5>Stage 3 \u2013 The Final&#8230;<\/h5>\n<p>The final will take place during our Reaseheath Family Festival on Sunday 3rd\u00a0May. All finalists will bring in their cake ready to decorate. Entries will be judged with prizes presented on the day.
