It's School Board Recognition Month! Wiss Nation proudly thanks our School Board members for their unwavering dedication to our school community. District Artist of the Month: Leah Richard
Congratulations to our District Artist of the Month, Leah Richard, a talented 5th grader from Lower Gwynedd! Leah is pictured with her artwork alongside her art teachers, Ms. Soto and Ms. Drury. Her piece was created as part of the Cactuses and Succulents in Pueblo–Inspired Pots project, where students explored artistic techniques and cultural traditions. We are so proud of Leah and all of our student artists for their creativity, learning, and thoughtful connections between art and culture!
Kindergarten Registration Begins January 2026
Registration for incoming kindergarteners for the 2026-2027 school year begins in January! Children who will be age 5 on or before September 1, 2026, are eligible to enter kindergarten. Visit our Registration webpage for important information and dates, including our Kindergarten Overview Meetings on January 21.
WHS Ranked Among Best High Schools
Wissahickon High School is proud to be ranked among the top 4% of high schools in the nation and among the best in the state by U.S. News & World Report in 2025! WHS placed in the top 4% nationwide, 3rd highest in Montgomery County, and 21st in Pennsylvania (or 17th when excluding special admission schools).
