- Barstool's Dave Portnoy did a marketing deal with Bryce Underwood to get him to flip to Michigan. Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison ponied up a reported $12 million. Tom Brady got on the phone with Underwood. This is now the craziest recruitment of all time.
- After a blowout 42-24 loss at Mississippi State today, Jimbo Fisher, who would be owed more than $95 million if he was fired without cause, has the same record (37-16) as Kevin Sumlin through their first 53 games as the coach at Texas A&M.
- Kirk Herbstreit is not saying the regular season doesn’t matter. He’s not saying wins and losses don’t matter. He’s saying anyone who watches the sport and has the semblance of a clue can see Ole Miss and Alabama are better than Indiana and SMU.

- It's not that Colorado is horrible and it's not Deion Sanders is a bad coach. Colorado has no offensive line or depth. Their best player has a lacerated liver. They're coming off three emotional wins. Colorado will get smoked by Oregon here and USC next and then they'll be OK.
