Blender vs 3DS Max vs Maya vs Cinema 4D. Mind-blowing. I think old-timers like me who grew up with Maya and 3DS Max easily under-estimate how thoroughly #Blender has won the 3D creation market.

This guy is using Img2img Stable Diffusion on old Sierra titles. Input the old 16 color low res image and get back amazingly detailed recreations. sciprogramming.com/community/inde… (I wonder if soonish we can apply this to old cartoons animations?)

I checked the instagram. It seems that the restaurant does exist. It seems it was severely damaged in 2023 and then rebuilt and he may have evacuated south and returned. It seems to be real and he is posting on a regular basis: instagram.com/restaurant.hot…
