I am not responsible for your student debt. I grew up in poverty in NC. Ate from a garden, name was on community Angel tree for Christmas, bought clothes from yard sales & if I was lucky, on a rare occasion Sky City. I joined the Air Force then went to college. I made it happen.

I grew up in poverty in the mountains of NC. I ate out of a garden, lived in government housing, shopped at yard sales. I joined the Air Force. Earned my GI BILL. I attained 4 degrees and created my own version of the American Dream. I am not responsible for your student debt.

It is Memorial Day weekend. This weekend is our time as a nation to honor our Fallen. It is our dedicated time to reflect on our war fighters, those who paid the ultimate price for our Freedom.

PRAYER REQUEST We have a Marine who doesn’t see a path forward. He is in a dark place. Life is stomping on him. He won’t let us help. Yet. Will you pray for him and offer a word of encouragement? I will dm this post. He will see your words. He is a big guy. He is hurting.

I work hard for veterans 7 days a week. No paycheck. I do not have to do it. I am a volunteer. It is a passion. I do it to honor my combat vet dad. He lost his battle with PTSD. If I offend you. Do not follow. This is not for the faint of heart. Freedom comes with a heavy price.
