Our student Red Og Murphy was laid to rest today. To his first class students in his placement school he was Mr Murphy. We echo their sentiments. Fly high Mr Murphy.

The teaching and teacher education community in Ireland and beyond stand with you and with Ashling’s colleagues in silence…🕯The entire MIC community is heartbroken and shocked to the core to hear of the tragic and senseless killing of Ashling Murphy who graduated from MIC only three months ago. Our heartfelt sympathy go out to her family, friends, colleagues and pupils. RIP Ashling.
