Although I'm smiling, I had a tear in my eye when I finally said farewell to my Corsa that served me and my family well for 25 years. That car saved my life when I was shot during an attack while organizing for the DA in Khayelitsha. We went everywhere together.

This is pitiful. The melanin-quotient of the DA leader is the least significant aspect of this historic agreement. Critical Race Theory creeps into almost every report about SA in Britain and the USA. Grow up, guys!

It cannot be right that main arteries and a highway are closed because the President has to drive to Parliament (held in the City Hall because Parliament burnt down). The traffic jams are insane. The public has as much right to drive on the streets as the President.
