    NWS has issued a heat advisory that is in effect from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026. NWS has forecasted a daytime high heat index value, or “feels like” temperature, of up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Additional heat advisories may be issued over the weekend.

    Flash Flood Warning including New Orleans LA, Metairie LA and Kenner LA until 7:30 AM CDT

    A tornado watch has been issued for parts of Louisiana and Mississippi until 6 AM CDT
