- Football is a winner, without being too cliched. The big money bullies haven’t got what they want. And Spurs are very much winners in that Kane is a pro, who’ll score 20+ goals. £150m in the bank with minimal chance of proper replacements would not have been ‘winning’No winners in the Kane saga for me. Tottenham have a depreciating asset who everyone knows would rather be elsewhere, City still don't have a striker and Kane didn't get what he wanted.
