Not sure if this is out there but every single time Jack Campbell has debuted for a NHL team, it has been against the Ducks. His first and only game as a Star was against the Ducks. His debut as a King was against the Ducks, and now his debut as a Leaf is against the Ducks.

Removing all of the other stuff, Jay Woodcroft and Rick Tocchet have more recently managed teams to success with players that match the age range of the Ducks. This was not something the Ducks *had* to do. There were other great candidates and they chose the most problematic one

The Ducks are hiring Joel Quenneville as head coach, as @DarrenDreger first reported. David Carle had a two day interview before extending with DU. Jay Woodcroft & Rick Tocchet were other final candidates. Anaheim did an extensive search into Quenneville’s role in Blackhawks

Zegras deserves a ton of praise for his effort tonight. Seems like he took the benching on the chin or as a challenge because he was all over the ice tonight like he was last Sunday. Oh and Carlsson is so good. I’m buzzing right now

I have absolutely no clue how people are getting to the conclusion that they are by "lip reading" this. Feels like it was started by a bunch of people that already dislike Zegras and saw what they wanted to see because they are lip reading experts now.

This was a really tough read and basically consumed my assumptions on the past few seasons for him. He really was not supported well or put in a position to thrive in the Verbeek tenure. I truly think he is a 60+ point player and am rooting for him because of the joy he brings

Tonight will only be the third time all season the Ducks have had Zegras, Carlsson, Terry, Killorn, McTavish, Strome, and Vatrano all in the lineup at the same time.
