- Today marks Tom's 67th birthday. Tom & the Heartbreakers road crew will gather this afternoon to celebrate Tom’s life, legacy, and birthday
- We believe strongly in common sense gun laws. Tom was a gun owner who believed we all have a responsibility to ensure guns are used safely and sensibly. He said it publicly and wrote it in songs. None of us want to live in a country where our children aren’t safe.
- Tom’s family, bandmates and friends join with all of you – his incredible and loyal fans – to celebrate what would have been Tom’s 69th birthday this weekend. Here’s to Tom Petty: Songwriter, musician, singer, performer, husband, father and friend.
- Tom counted David Crosby as a friend and a hero. He visited often at his house in the valley. He was funny, provocative and electric with talent. His contribution to music will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and love to his family, bandmates and fans.
