    In 1962, there was only one boarded female urologist. In 2020, 10.3% of practicing urologists were women. We are proud to have 8 women on faculty and 8 female residents. @MaiasaurusRex is an outstanding chief resident and new mom, who somehow manages to make it all look easy.

    Big congratulations to this year’s winner of the UTSW Urology resident teaching award @AdityaBagrodia. Dr. Bagrodia is an amazing surgeon, scientist, and teacher. However, his calm demeanor and witty sense of humor is what sets him apart as a resident favorite.

    We would like to thank @glemack for 17 incredible years as Program Director. He passes the torch to @SJHudak, who has some extra large shoes to fill, but we know Dr. Hudak is up for the challenge. Dr. Lemack remains a crucial figure in our department as Vice Chair of Education.

    Our interns do over 100 flexible cystoscopies in the Parkland clinic during their 3 month rotation. Here, Dr. Bochner is diagnosing a papillary bladder tumor in her first week and looking like a pro in the process. 💪
