With immense sadness, we announce the passing of our CEO and founder Simon Cowell MBE. He dedicated his life to British wildlife and worked tirelessly to rescue and protect countless wild animals. He will be greatly missed.

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we publish this. Simon Cowell, our founder, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer that is terminal. Simon has dedicated his life to giving wild animals a second chance. Now, he needs YOUR help bit.ly/3NYz67G

It’s #NationalFoxDay! What better way to support and celebrate these beautiful creatures than by purchasing one of our t-shirts, designed by the one and only @rickygervais! Every penny raised will go towards the care and rehabilitation of our #foxes. #Simonslastwish #wildlife

It's now been almost 100 days since our smallest #fox #cub arrived at the centre, and just look at what a difference she has made! Weighing just over 60g when we first saw her, she is now verging on independence and is joining our other fox cubs in their daily #mischief making!

Thanks so much for the mention @rickygervais, and for all of the wonderful work you do for our animals!

Did you know that by saving 100 hedgehogs a year, in 10 years’ time, those 100 could have gone on to produce a further 35,000! Helping every animal, helps protect & grow the population of the species as a whole! 4 days left… #helpourhedgehogs

Can you spare just a few minutes to help us save more #animals? We are in with a chance to win a share of £300k, but we need your votes! All you need to do is visit bit.ly/WAFVote and vote for us - it just takes a few seconds and will be a HUGE help! @JaneFallon

Can saving one hedgehog really make a difference? After factoring in all factors (and a lot of working out!) we found that one hedgehog could produce 350 progeny in 10 years. If 10 centres rescued just 100 animals that would be 3.5million by 2028. That's a difference to me.

We don't think anyone could blame poor "Chef" for trying to ditch the winter blues by sneaking into someone’s kitchen. Missing more than half of his fur, "Chef" has obviously got a bad case of mange. He’ll be with us for a few weeks whilst he recovers 🦊🧡

Do you remember the tawny #owl that arrived from a local veterinary centre at the beginning of August? This stunning bird of prey has come on leaps and bounds since its arrival. It's taken 3 weeks, but now, this beauty is finally free and flying high once more! #wildlife
