No need to "nuke" it. Just force a real filibuster. Force Senators to speak on the floor opposing something that 85% of Americans support. Photo ID to vote; proof of citizenship to register. When they run out of gas or pressure from constituents hits fever pitch, a 50+1 vote win.

Andy is a talented lawyer & did great work on terrorism back in his prosecutor days (he’s also a pleasant and friendly conversationalist)… But his judgement has been repeatedly bad during the Trump years. His political heuristics have needed radical readjustment for a decade.

Such awful news about such a great scholar and professor. I maintain that reading Boethius prepares you better to work in Washington than doing Woody Woo public-policy task forces on whatever. It was Prof. Fleming who'd make you do that. princeton.edu/news/2026/06/1…
