Institutional crypto staking has a transparency problem, and it's becoming a disqualifier. The first question from serious allocators isn't "what's your yield?" anymore. It's "What can you prove?" A thread on what transparent staking actually looks like 🧵

The conclusion: yield will always matter, but it's no longer the question that separates staking partners. The question is whether everything behind that yield can be seen, verified, and defended. Where it can, staking becomes a durable part of an institutional strategy.

The two biggest regulatory shifts for institutional staking in 2026: 1) The SEC confirmed PoS staking is not a securities offering. Custodial and self-custodial staking are covered within defined parameters. 2) MiCA is in full enforcement in the EU. Your provider's compliance
