Been farming for almost 30 years now, always planted Pioneer on majority of acres, a few competitors here and there, but by and far their seed. Planting zero acres of it next year because they refuse to budge on price. I guess they can plant it elsewhere. Let the games begin.

Spent the day relocating the autonomous grazing units, the latest models have a four compartment bio reactor to convert dry forages into most nutrient dense protein on the planet. They will also replicate in 30-45 days and are capable of self rehydrating at water stations. ✌🏼

Youngest son Luke competing at National Speech and Debate Association in Iowa this week. Made top 60 in the nation in Humorous Interpretation. Currently in top 60 and still competing forward in Prose category. He’s a natural, only his second year in competitive speech. 🔥🔥

I don’t think the tech fanboys and nerds in Agriculture realize Deere and others are simply in a race to get the autonomous equipment perfected and adapted to the market… Just so they can now sell a “remote operator access” subscription priced @ .50/acre under human labor costs

Reality is this fall, the vast majority of cattle producers will be sorting and weaning record prices calves in corrals and pens that are 75 years old, made of broken pipes and rotted lumber, held together with baling wire and twine. That pretty much sums up cattle production.

Don’t see how these tariff are bad for the cattle… We still raise them here. Everyone freaking out is worried about some industry the globalists outsourced long ago. The American rancher that has survived this long should be rewarded for keeping the craft alive with grit.

2025 Bred Heifers… first one dominoed yesterday. They were born, raised, bred, and will calve here. Never left the place since they arrived on the planet. No plans for them to go anywhere till they’re old cows. This is the way.

Driving across the flint hills of Kansas, seeing miles of green grass with yearlings roaming about… Sure is nice to see a place that farming hasn’t scorched the earth with the plow. Just grass and cattle.
