- We mourn the passing of Henry “Hank” Aaron, a baseball legend and a true icon on and off the field. He and his wife Billye, shown here with President and Dean Valerie Montgomery Rice, have been tremendous supporters of MSM and this is a profound loss to our community.
- MSM celebrates #BlackHistoryMonth by highlighting prominent Black trailblazers in healthcare. Dr. David Satcher became the first African American Director of @CDCgov . Dr. Satcher was also the 16th Surgeon General of the U.S. and former Secretary of Health in @HHSGov
- Their very names meant justice. Congressman John Lewis and Rev C. T. Vivian were titans of the civil rights movement, who devoted their lives to advancing human rights around the globe. Their lives will be celebrated around the world for their courage, integrity and humility.
- Hadiyah-Nicole Green, PhD, lost the aunt and uncle who raised her to #Cancer. Green, now an assistant professor in MSM's surgery department, started the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation in honor of her late aunt. Hear her inspiring story. n.pr/3h3uZHi
