- Last week, I had the honor of sharing 5 years of collected research during my (successful!) PhD defense. Next, I'll spend one year as a @cbitshealth postdoc, then begin as an assistant professor at @UCSF_DOCIT in Sept 2025. I am so thankful and excited for what the future holds!

- There's a long history in the US of stigma around politicians speaking publicly about mental illness _while_ in office. I see Senator Fetterman's open disclosure as demonstrating some of the progress that has been made in destigmatizing mental illness. Wishing him the best 💙John Fetterman releasing a statement that he's checking himself into a hospital to treat his clinical depression, knowing everyone is speculating about his health, makes me feel so seen. We don't have to hide. We deserve treatment. We deserve our condition to be normalized.
