I'm a Conservative. When I was in Congress, I was one of it's most conservative Members. But dammit, I'm an American first. And I'm furious that Russia screwed with our election. I'm furious that Russia attacked us. And I'm really furious that our President doesn't give a damn.

I didn’t vote for Obama. I fought him tooth & nail when he was President and I was in Congress. But I agree with every single word he is uttering right now. Obama cares about this country. Trump doesn’t.

I’m often asked what I mean when I say I “lost everything” by opposing Trump. By “everything” I mean I lost my livelihood, all my supporters, most of my friends, & any future in electoral politics or conservative media. I lost all that. No regrets. I’d do it again. Country 1st.

I lost everything. Doing what I did, coming from where I came from, I lost everything these past few years. But tomorrow, when Joe Biden is sworn in, I will smile, and probably cry some, and know in my heart it was all worth it. It was always worth it. No regrets. Country first.
