Aysia's dance team was required to attend a Dance Conference, EPIC. They learned 4 genres of dance in 2 day, then showcased them for the parents to watch. She did a great job!

Andy and Sabrina came to visit us in Utah with their sweet daughter Kaitlyn. Grandma Pikus made brunch and we were able to visit while the cousins played dress up.

Taylor and the boys went to the Minor League Soccer Playoffs to support the Real Monarchs team in the semi-finals. They won and went on to win the Final game the next week!

We can't get enough of the trampoline parks, especially when it is cold outside.

Skyler asked Jayden what happened to his car one morning, there were a couple of large dents on the drivers side front wheel well. We figured it must have been a hit and run at the school parking lot. We were going to pay out of pocket to have it fixed since it would have been less than our deductible, but then the next week, he was picking the kids up from school when a boy who had his license for 3 days hit him as he was making a u-turn. There were no tickets given since it was on private property. We were lucky it was hit in the same spot as the prior accident. I was glad no one was hurt.

Taylor caught this wood pecker after he kept pooping all over our front porch. He was going to try and take it to another area, but it got away. Luckily I think it was traumatized enough from being caught that it never returned.

This year was the Pikus off year for Thanksgiving so since Jett would be Baptized the same weekend as Thanksgiving, we decided to head South and join them for a long weekend with Grandma Woobie. We left a little later then we planned on Wednesday hoping to beat the large storm headed to Utah. Luckily there was only one really snowy area just past Cedar City and we made it in time to hang out for a bit before bed time. Mikelle and John did a great job decorating and everyone pitched in for Dinner. John smoked a couple of Turkeys and Mikelle put one in the crockpot. Everything turned out amazing. Johns entire family was able to join us as well. The kids had a great time playing in the sports court, putting leaves on the "Thankful Tree", coloring placemats and putting together a little Christmas Village. Of course it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a nap which was much needed and welcomed.

The next day, the kids put puzzles together and we did a little Black Friday Shopping at Walmart (It was at 11:00 so the crowds had died down a bit). We also went on a walk to a bridge that crossed the river. We bought tickets to go to the movie Abominable that night which was a darling show. Then Mikelle and I did a little shopping at Bath and Body Works while the others ordered pizza. It was back to the house to hang out and eat dinner.

The next day, Grandma Woobie wanted to take us to the Labyrinth in Kayente. It Is a peaceful place for reflection as you wind around a path that leads you to the center. We had a spiritual discussion about our own life's journey and our path back to Heavenly Father. We dropped Grandma and Mikelle off at home while the rest of us went to the trampoline park. We headed back home for Jett's big day. He had chosen to be baptized. Mikelle asked if I would be a witness with her, I was honored. It was the first time I was able to witness at a baptism. We went back to the house for a big pasta dinner and play more games. It was a great way to end our trip.
