I'm not a frequent blogger, but maybe that's because I am forgetful! And once I forget to blog once, I'll keep forgetting until one day I suddenly remember I have a blog! And today is the day.
So what happened to me for the past 10 months?
In brief..
I managed to graduate LLB Law with a 2.2. Not a very good grade, but considering the amount of effort I put in... you have to give me some credits! XD
I moved to a new flat in city centre. MUCH better than the previous one. More spacious, modernised and definitely convenient in terms of location!
Ben Pan is my new flatmate. A bball mate.
Doing Msc in Management in MMU. Why am I not doing law? Two main reasons. One, I did not manage to get into Bar school. Two, I did not want to do bar anyway... but after considerations now I've decided to apply for BPTC again. Masters course is a good way to develop my self-discipline skills.
I am now an e-learning consultant for Kenshido Company, promoting E-learning service, SCORE A. What can I say? A big step for the Malaysian citizens towards the internet-based world. Special thanks to Syafiq and Alvin who showed me the door and opportunity to earn some side-income. =)
I also have a new baby cousin! Congrats to cousin Ngen and Elynn.
I celebrated my birthday in KK with my friends....for the first time! Also the first time with my bro, sis, cousins, for a long, long time.
I became good friends with quite a few basketball mates. Ben (flatmate), Lem, Benny, Brian, Leo etc.
I am no longer single =) The lucky girl's name is Corrinne Tan. HAHA! Ya ya ya whatever I'm the lucky guy. She's pretty, smart (academically HAHA), stupid in a cute way sometimes. Most of all, she's pure and untainted and different than most of the girls I know out there. Lucky guy, I am XD
My mom and youngest bro, shin, are coming to UK, together with mom's friends. They are currently on the plane to London.
That's all I can rmb now. Brief, not so eventful, but great times. Of course there were ups and downs but that's life.
And guess what.... The MAIN reason that got me back into this blog is because.....
I AM DOING MY ASSIGNMENTS LAST MINUTE AGAIN! haha! With another 3k words to go, and I have less than 24 hours left to hand in the coursework. Will I be able to make it? We'll see. If I do, I would like to dedicate my results to 2 redbull shots, 1 huge redbull and 1 medium redbull =) Ah, how can I forget about Melvin, Nariza and Wayne? Of course, Melvin is the one that helped me the most! He's a saint¬!
Ok now..... back to work!

New term NEW START!
I need to get pumped! I need to be semangat! In fact, I might be over-semangat but please don't blame me >.< I have to!
I had an extra 10 days of holidays compare to most of the people I know. It was good and yet boring! haha! I did feel refreshed and went to my 1st day of uni with full concentration!
Environmental Law - VERY VERY recommendable. It's a fun subject being taught by fun teaching staff, and it also raised awareness among the students! Do you know that the main problems for us human beings now are not only the basic needs like water, shelter and food? It's population! If China didn't implement it's infamous "one-child" policy, they would have 400 million extra people and that is the whole United States of America! So much for the Human Rights.
Public International Law - hm... very overwhelming. Need to study so much and the lecturers are very confusing. The materials available online too.... *sweat
Constitutional reform - the 1st lecture was quite boring, but gladly Carey and I made it through the whole lecture! Not sure if I can make it tomorrow... 2 hours of Consti!
I have applied FlyingStart Workshop in Uni. of Manchester @ Zochonis Bldg, Theatre A on 10th Feb 2010. Claire Young, the finalist of Apprentice 2008 is going to be there too!
Ahhh and also the Apprentice Manchester which is going to start from 22nd March. Y'all better support me!!!

101 East - Malaysia: Whose God?
Please click the link and watch.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDac5GXjLMo
I saw this on my news feed, found by Shang Neng. A proper debate. Quoting Neng "No speaking monkeys, no scripted propaganda, again per se. You might not agree with any of the 3 parties, but at least they are coherent in substance and speech... I am proving a point that Malaysians do have a hope at reason"
How true.

Inside Story - Religious violence in Malaysia
Inside Story - Religious violence in Malaysia

They are such uncivilised idiots…. How could it be that burning churches is not an offence but using the word ‘Allah’ is? How does “Allah” look at it? Don’t you all think He must be disgusted by such wrongdoings in his name?
The following are some of the comments given by my friends:-
Shang Neng Tan
I have only watched it halfway and couldn't bare to go on anymore. I feel like being in a Jack Black or Sacha Cohen film, I can only wish you know what I mean.

it is so embarrassing... Why field such incompetent ppl? Mr. Khairul wasn't even answering the questions... merely reading out the "script" prepared earlier...

'The best solution is to keep it a close door discussion among the state holders instead of bringing it to the court of law'. Gosh.... I totally agree with my friends' opinions!

Sad and disgust...
Again I was inactive with my blog. I thought my first post after so long would be something more trivial like stress with exams (january) or not being able to step down as the President of The People Society. Oh no, not all these, but it's the M'sia news that bother me the most now.
I wrote this note in facebook this morning after reading some articles and news about the disputes revolving the word "Allah" and also the attacks to the churches + 1 mosque soon after. It has even gone further to the church in Miri, Sarawak, making it into 7 in total...
It's a brief one, but it should suffice for now.
With all these incidents happening in M'sia, first time in my life, that I cried for my country. I cried for help and prayed, hope that it could reach any of the Gods....Jesus, Allah and also Gods and Goddesses of Buddhism, could you hear me?
This is sad. 1 Malaysia? It's a very good concept that all of us should embrace, but clearly there are quite a number of individuals and extremists who don't give a damn about what's happening to the nation and the people but themselves. 6 churches and 1 mosque have been attacked... Please... no more...
Many have shared their thoughts, and the follwings are some of the comments given by some individuals and politicians regarding the fire-bombing incidents and "Allah" word. They are closest to my thoughts.
David Dass:
We have crossed the divide. This is a low point in our history as a nation. There have been other low points - May 13, Kerling, Operasi Lalang, the BMF (Bumiputra Malaysia Finance) scandal and the killing of its auditor, the sacking of the judges, the forex trading losses, Kampong Medan, etc...
But this low point is especially significant. It strikes at the heart of religious freedom and our diverse society. It demonstrates the mob's total disregard for the rule of law and democracy. The government's action and inaction would have encouraged the extremists on the fringes of our society. A non-Muslim judge was vilified.
How do we repair the damage? Where do we go from here. Are we a multi-religious society where freedom of worship is guaranteed? Are all Malaysians, regardless of race and religion, equal under the law and enjoy the equal protection of the law? Is the constitution the supreme law of the country and are we governed by the rule of law?
Mythots:
We do not blame all the Muslims in this country. We want the authorities to apprehend the culprits involved in this act and to have them face the music quickly. We hope the authorities do not allow this simmering pot to boil over and cause more havoc. God gave us a blessed land with enough riches for everyone. Let us learn to enjoy the fruits of this blessed land.
SAPP: Church fire-bombing incidents an indictment of our Malaysian Society
Kota Kinabalu, Jan 9, 2009: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president Datuk Yong Teck Lee, today said the culprits who fire-bombed the three Churches must be brought to justice as soon as possible.
"Justice done will repair, even if to a limited extent, the deep fractures inflicted on Malaysian society by such cowardly actions. Ordinary people who are not deeply involved in religious matters have suddenly become agitated by these incidents. This is a dangerous polarization that is spreading to a wider section of our society.
"The people expect that the Prime Minster's assurances that those responsible will be brought to justice will bear results without any delay. The police force should have by now the prime suspects with the motives to commit such fire-bombings.
"Are the culprits part of a wider conspiracy? Are they pockets of "lost command" who no longer take orders from their leaders? Or are they mere opportunists who want to create chaos in Malaysia to fulfill their hidden agenda? The timing and modus operandi of the three fire-bombing incidents suggest that there is some similarity in the thoughts of the culprits.
"Are the culprits the by-products of a racially and religiously divided society? The incidents are an indictment of country that institutionalizes racial and religious politics. Our country's leaders must rethink the existing compartmentalization of our political system along racial and religious lines. This is a wake up call.
What next?
"The government and the police force must prevent any "copycat fire-bombers" the idea of which might be germinating in the minds of some trouble makers. This burden falls heavily on the shoulders of the Prime Minister, his Cabinet and his government.
"Rightly or wrongly, many people point their fingers in the direction of the government leadership. It was sad that the PM had said in the newspapers (on Jan. 8) that the government could not stop the protesters and was earlier seen smiling when receiving a Pahang NGO (Jan. 4) protesting against the High Court judgment in favour of a Catholic publication.
"Inadvertently, these images and head lines have sent wrong signals to the people, including opportunists and extremists who desire chaos and violence.
"Sabah is still relatively free of racial and religious tensions. Our harmony is something that Sabahans are proud of. We should resist the importation of racial and religious extremism from entering our society. This is part of the non-racial civil society that is part of the SAPP platform," Yong said.
*** There are way too many articles and comments, so I just took these 3 as they represent my exact feelings and thoughts, and because I want to share them with my friends.
By the way, Feizy Faik, I wish you well and god knows what you're thinking. You have definitely offended many people including me. You disgust me, and you brought shame to Malaysian Bar. Shame on you for giving blind comments just to support your beloved PM. Shame on you for being a legal studies student. Shame on you for being a Malaysian! YOU DISGUST US!

Malaysian Bar member's comment. Moronic much?

'The best solution is to keep it a close door discussion among the state holders instead of bringing it to the court of... See More law'. LOL, a laughing clown would have made more sense. I bet after this programme, the host probably went home thinking 'no wonder you idiots are still fighting over this matter.'
I don't know whether intentional or not, but I like how they stopped showing Mr. Khairul when he spoke, just show the videos.
What about your opinion?
