My good friend Jenn called me up this morning and invited Bridgette and I to Devil’s Lake State Park.

I had heard great things about this lake and so I quickly packed our bags.

We were out the door and on our way within 45 minutes.

Bridgette’s swimsuit is for babies 12.5lbs to 17.5lbs…I really had to pull hard to get it on.

Little Bridgette almost needs a bra.

Being at the lake reminded me of being in the Uinta Mountains in Utah.

The water was incredibly warm.

Here’s proof we don’t get out enough:

Bridgette squints hard when the sun shines on her face. She’s not used it.

Which is probably a good thing.

Her skin in so pale…she’ll be spending the rest of her beach days in the shade, just like her papa.

It was a gorgeous day. Could not have been better!

Bridgette’s little friend, Eleanor.

She holds a special place in my heart, for I was there the day she was born.

This little Eleanor is 68 days older than Bridgette.

Isn’t she just a doll!?Thank you Jenn, for getting me out of the house. We enjoyed the outing!
